Cart shed decision

Glad to see the board is looking toward the future and putting money away to save for future card shed replacement. The previous "fix" will not last forever so seems like a good decision. I would also like to see the board look into any actions that are so called detrimental to the club and have the plan to put into action if any individuals create problems that would fall under this category. If the item is in the by-laws, then we should act on it, or remove it from the by-laws. Yes, we have a GREAT thing going at FCC! Look at the amount of volunteers on work days and look at all the "luxury" items that we have that we take for granted. I sure like what we have and what we have done with the course.

I want to thanks the people of the club who attended me so nicelly during my visit to Fulton and the days I went to play with my friends Jerry Van Zuiden, Peter Mitchel and Roger Skipper.
I really enyoyed and want to congratulate all the persons that are involved to keep the course in such a good shape.
I play at the Cariar Country Club in my country and if some of you will come to Costa Rica will be nice to play with him in my club.

As the year comes to a close I have time to reflect on the past golf season. I would like to thank FCC and the guys who host the men's stag. I am always made to feel welcome at an event I look forward to playing in every year. I have made many life long friends at the club and enjoy seeing them every year. The golf course was in wonderful shape and Josh and his staff deserve praise. Good luck to all of you this coming holiday season and best of luck in 2010. Hope to see all of you next year. The gates at Valley Oaks are always open. Come over and see me sometime.

With the changes made this year, for 2010 will the league be called The Men and Boys League ?
Will thurs. be called Men and Boys Day? Just wondering.

if i'm not mistaken, at the top of every score card it states that faster players should be allowed to play through. i'm not aware of any special concessions or special rates that allow members to ignore this rule. you all know who you are out there ignoring this. let's allow everyone to enjoy their game and membership shall we?

I just left the club at 5:40 on Thurs. 7-23. I left because I was going to play 9 holes,but was told I couldn't play because my daughter was with me. I explained that she was only riding with me and watching because she was bored and didn't want to stay home alone. I could tell that the employee that had to tell me that she wasn't allowed on the course was embarrassed to tell me. She shouldn't have been embarrassed, however the board members that voted in this rule should be embarrassed. What is so sacred about mens night,that my daughter couldn't spend a couple hours with me while I was golfing. Obviously I didn't know about this rule,nor could I find anything on the web site.
